When he was alone with the dog, the bad old man said, "Come now, find money for me too. It will be better for you if you do." But Pochi only stared at him. "Hurry up! If you do not find it, you will be sorry!" Then the old man took a stick and struck Pochi. The dog ran into the field and began to bark.
