A Japanese folktale inspired by Sanmai no Ofuda, where a young monk uses three ofuda charms to escape a yamanba witch.

After crossing the river, the witch resumed the chase. When her hands were almost touching the monk’s back, he released the last ofuda and said, "Please make a great mountain of sand appear!" At once, a mountain of sand rose up, and the witch slipped down it, unable to continue the pursuit.
